I chose Turner Syndrome because it is little known disorder that is often forgotten about when we think of physical or mental handicaps. I don't personally know anyone with TS but that doesn't make it any less important to me. As a woman, this is a disorder that had the potential to affect me directly. This is not an inherited disorder and any female has the potential to be born with it.
